experience with Slime tire sealant
I am considering purchasing a kit that includes Slime tire sealant and an air pump that runs off the 12 volt plug. Has anybody had any experience using Slime to fix a flat in an emergency?
If Slime does work, it would be quicker, easier, and less messy than actually changing the flat and putting on the space saver spare.
Also, I can't use any fix a flat products that come in aerosol cans because of the heat here in Phoenix (can may explode when left in hot car), but Slime is a liquid in a plastic bottle and not affected by the heat.

Prepare to buy a new TPMS sensor
If you ever do use slime, be prepared to buy a new TPMS sensor for that wheel. The slime will render it inoperative. Let the tire store know you've slimed as well, they don't like the surprise of slime all over themselves and will disparage your lineage.

I've read articles on tire sealants where they say you should warn the tire tech that you've used the product so they don't get sprayed with chemicals when busting down the tire.
Slime claims the product is water soluble and can be washed out of the TPMS sensor with water so it can be re-used, but since they don't back it up with a guarantee I realize you are taking the risk of sensor damage when using their product.
