Default fast key retrofit help

Hello. My 07 Outlander Xls Has the fast key system system. The Ignition lock switch failed and there are no replacements available in the US, Canada or Japan( Part # 6370a920). Does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit the fast pass Ignition switch with a with a standard Ignition lock switch, possibly from the ES or LS model ?

The wire connection looks similar between fast key and standard. I don't know anything about the fast key deal but if it was mine I would definitely try a cheap new or used standard switch not lock cylinder. Should only take about 10 minutes and $10 to find out.
