I just placed my V14 disk in the computer and there is a loading.kwi file on it simular to the one that they have been modifying for the HDD versions, maybe this can be modified and we reburn the map DVD and it will work?

The Australian version of the MMCS has two DVD slots, one for the Map Disk and the other for the music/DVD video.
If I send you the loading.kwi file can you please review it and see if you can do the same as you have done for the HDD version?
I can send you what ever you need as I have backed it up to my Computer.

I have an MMCS from C-crosser in my Outlander. Want to have an oulander start up. Can someone help me with a image from the euro MMCS?

Have been watching this thread for a while and have noticed MMCS for C- crosser now appearing. Has any body had any luck unlocking the HDD yet, does the EM key work the same as for the Outlander version? My MMCS shows loader as being BLD-NR-261EM CTR 1.10, and have been wondering if the CTR 1.10 will alter the key.

Again good work to all with the progress they have made so far.

 

I have been following this thread for a while now hoping that someone would provide the code neccessary to unlock the HD sitting in my MMCS.
No luck yet and I see that there are other users wondering the same.

Originally I had a standard radio/CD-Changer, but replaced it with an MMCS (and rear view camera) from a condemned C-Crosser. I do not have the orignal CD/DVD disks and would be very happy if anyone could give me some leads on where to find it.

I would like to say that I'm very impressed of the work done by Otaku, rcostin, brian360 and oly_57mpg.

I'm going to try and hack the Aust (Non HD) MMCS. Not sure about the Euro version, but the amount of menu items that are locked on the Australian version during motion is ridiculous. The handsfree mobile phone side of things is so restricted I end up picking up my phone to make a call. (FYI to all the do gooders, I work on the road and travel highways lots, I can't be pulling over every 5 sec to make a call. If the Saleman had of informed me correctly the difference in MMCS to the voice control system in regards to the handsfree, I wouldn't have got the MMCS at all)

So anyway, the hacks people have previously made are done only through linux OS, anything I need in particular?

FYI the Aust MMCS dont have a hard drive, but the file structure sound the same, the Alldata.kwi file is different in size, 1.4Gb to the modified 4kb HD version. The Loading.KWI is 30Mbs, to the 34Mb HD one too. I am hoping to open the file and apply a similar modification, unless anyone know of a patch for the Australian Non HD MMCS system already.

Hi.Can please somebody upload the maps file to a torrent or megaupload because I can't find it nowhere.It was on torrent but 1 seeder that has been there has left and I am stuck on 94.5% 4 days already.

 

 

I got it alive with a hard drive from another c-crosser!

This means that we can switch harddrives between the navigation devices, but not between C-Crosser and Outlander.
Someone who knows what enables the startup for C-Crosser and Outlander? Is it possible optimise the kwi file so the image from outlander will start up in the c-crosser MMCS. Is there someone who has unlocked the hard drive in c-crosser?

The problem is that I have no hard drive that works in the navigatio, so I am desperately looking for an image from the c-crosser.
