What exactly can be done when you unlock the MMCS? Is there a thread explaining what can be done after unlocking?

thanks
At least watch DVD while moving. If you have the skills also change the music partition size , update the navigator maps , change the splash screens ...

Other things I don't know (if they added some more) since it's quite a lot of time that I don't follow this 3D

So I ordered a new HDD from the link below....
For 75 euro's I got 40GB HDD, updated maps and full MMCS software, inc updated Gracenote software.
Simple removal & replacement of HDD and all works 100%
I recommend!
I have no commercial interests in this link:-

Hello every one. I am from Estonia.
Has somebody used this HDD replacement?

I have bought yesturday a Mitsu Outlander 2008 2.0 DID with MMCS E-2 and my problem is that i tried to unlock the ability watching a DVD in motion and install the russification (russian language menu).
And now I have some problems like missing functions (like languages) in menu and russian letters in navigation key block in EU map.

I have burned ALLDATA.KWI and LOADING.KWI to a CD and updated the set.

Now can you please help me turn it back to english version?

Sorry for my English. Hope You will help me.

Your English is better than half the people that spoke it as their first language.

Thanks. I am trying.

Could You please (anybody) download an update for EU version?
Mine is 00.51.02
I think that it will be fixed if I install updates but not sure.

I have seen a lot of links here in forums but they all are dead.

Please. I am very dissapointed in my own ***** hands that I broke that pretty nice MMCS system.

Thanks to the NavHack! I have downloaded most recommended version for EM models 00006005 and everything is great now!
I have no wish to make the interface russian any more because it is not suitable for EU version of maps.
I had to pay 10 pounds to download but it's fine for this solution.

Let me show You my baby (car) I like it very much =) http://www.ark24.ru/?page=used&adw=1...3&sec=mainview

Hey, by any chance could you please help me change my Japanese Language MMCS over to English? Or help me with getting New Zealand / Australia maps instead of Japanese maps? Cheers

Hi! I Will try.
At this moment I can not open the web page: FAQ
It's the russian Outlander club and the section named "FAQ about native Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS)"

Ok. Now i have opened it.

So. If You have JM - Japanese version...
Here is about "Englafacation" of japanese version: OUT-CLUB.RU -

You can see some information while with google translate.
I will try to translate it more suitable but some time latter.

I tried clicking the link you have sent me, it was all in Russian so I tried google translating page and it made no sense to me. Any idea what I can do to make my system English or going through the steps with me through Skype would really help. Plus FYI I have a Galant Fortis Japanese Model (LANCER American). Hope this doesn't change anything cheers.
