"New" North America maps, dated by 2008Q3, are available now.
Successfully update mine 2006Q1.

2008Q3 are 13GB vs 2006Q1 10GB. Definitely more POI.

Will provide download link later.

Just curious - have anyone seen this question?

Hey is there any chance you could maybe add me on Skype and show me step by step on what I would need to do and buy to change my MMCS to English for Japanese? Would even consider a donation for your time. Would really appreciate all the help I could get. Cheers

Can you post the version numbers for your EU maps, I've got the 2011 maps and would like the 2012 maps which I believe are the last maps released by Navteq.

I don't own that car anymore, bought them before 3-4 months, and they are 2012 - latest by NQ, and that's true 2012 are latest by NQ, for 2013 NQ still didn't publish maps for MMCS.
