Otaku, thanks!

I will try this unlock key in few days.

How can I disasseble this unit? I'm not very good in such type of job, but I've already detached HDD by steps from this topic.

Will JM MMCS unit work, if I'll take an original image from HDD and then restore a EM image to it? My main need is to change the language to English, to extend FM frequency range and may be to restore TV function (now TV only plays sound, not an image)

Hrm - thats kinda why I'd like to see pictures of the boards - going by the drivers in the JM image there are hardware differences ..
If they are merely daughterboards, then yes, you might be able to replace the versions.
If there are major baseboard, then probably not .

I will write a result of this experiment (next week, 'coz unfortunately now I have "work" laptop - with 1,8" hdd inside; "home" laptop with 2,5" SATA hdd inside and my "travel" netbook, without ability to start-up from CDs or USB. I just need simple laptop with IDE 2,5 hdd and CD-ROM ).

Otaku, this key (BAB2BCB3DFB0BEACBBB1DFBEADB1CDD2CEC9B2B5B1DF899ED F968CAA8D9ADFDF) makes nothing! I've tried to use it - no results. Have you any spare key?

Default New European maps

1. a computer running linux with 45G of free disk
2. a copy of the original DVD

Procedure (long version):
1. unlock the MMCS' hdd as described here (https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=25583)
2. copy the files hd1.xxx from DVD to disk
3. rename all hd1.xxx as hd1.xxx.gz
4. decompress all gz files
5. join all resulted files in a single large file (~20G)
6. mount it in linux on a folder (in /mnt for example)
7. attach MMCS' disk to the linux box and copy all files from /mnt to the partition containing the maps (you may overwrite the existing files)
8. turn off the computer and moutn the disk back in MMCS

The short version:
1. download the archive from ftp://194.88.148.1/ (username: maps pass: mitsubishi)
2. extract all files to the MMCS' disk partition containing the maps (overwrite)

NOTES
As usual, you are the only responsible of what you do with your disk and data. If you ruin it, is only your fault.

More to come

Good evening! I'm from Russia. Unfortunately, I do not know English.
We also have a forum, MMSC.
The main theme - no maps of Russia. But before we deal with the cards, we want to install Russian language in the MMSC of European and Japanese versions. My Pajero installed NR261RM, there are Russian. I would like to know is it possible?

Thank you!
