Default Internal heater

Hi all..

Can any member tell me where to find the heater sensor (and what it looks like) on a 2008 Outlander 2.2 Di-D.

My interior heater does not get warm unless I turn it right up to the max. This has only recently started to occur so I am guessing there is an issue with a sensor somewhere.

thanks

watch your engine temp gauge. if your engine never gets up to temp, I'd suspect your thermostat is stuck open.

if your engine is reaching temperature and holding it okay...then I can only think of two other possibilities.
- your heater core is clogged/congested
- the blend door is stuck in default position...which would likely be a vacuum leak, which would give you problems with which vents the air is coming out of.

unless you have some sort of automatic heat control, there wouldn't be a "heat sensor".
