Default Manual Transmission Woes

I have had my outlander for 4 weeks now, a week after i bought it i noticed to gears a bit notchy. Its the 6 speed manual 2.0 Di-D and its mostly changing from 1st into 2nd and from 3rd down to 2nd gear its most noticeable. I renewed the gearbox oil on saturday but it has made no difference. Has anyone else with the manual box had similar issues, your thoughts please

gearboxes are all different, but ive never met one that cant be used to good effect by making changes to how i use them.
"a bit notchy" does not sound like a gearbox fault, rather a "between steering wheel and seat" fault.
