How do we find the ESN on the MMCS in an 08 Outlander?

 

chillrich, you aren't going to find the ESN in MMCS, it's in a label in the Sirius receiver. Receiver is located behind the lower glove box. . .

 

You should be able to switch to the SAT function and go one below channel 1 and it should display the ESN on the display. They make you tear apart your dash to get you ESN? Holy design flaw batman.

 

I'm sorry, my mistake chillrich. This is the procedure to know the ESN if OEM Sirius receiver is installed; it is not necessary to remove nothing

* Non-navigation radio
Press pre-set button 5 or 6.
Tune to Channel 0.
12 Digit ESN will appear

* MMCS
In SIRIUS mode, touch the '^' key (lower left).
Then press 'SIRIUS ID'.
12 Digit ESN will appear.
