Noise when accelerating | Outlander 2010
Hi all!
3 month ago I have acquired a used Outlander 2010 (147 hp, 2.0 petrol, automatic gearbox). Now, it's been about 4 weeks since there is this a "metal clinging" noise when accelerating between 30-80 kmph. There is no noise when I start driving, it appears only after +-15 minutes. There is also zero noise when driving under 30 or over 80 (up to 110, didn't try to go higher).
The noise is most surely coming from under the hood, I can hear it louder when the window is open. When accelerating "on spot", i.e. not moving (on park or neutral), sound does not appear.
Has anyone had such experience? I am going to take the car to the service anyway, however I want to know what to expect.
You can hear the noise on the videos attached (sorry for the leg exposure
).
Any help will be highly appreciated!

Can be whatever cause of this noise....
One of the sources can be a broken freewheel clutch pulley which sits on alternator. If you remove the belt it is easy to check this pulley with your bare hands by spinning it into direction of the belt rotation with sadden stop attempt (by hands). If your hands experience strong torque or rotational inertia then freewheel clutch inside is broken and pulley need replacement. if pulley is sopped but you feel/hear that alternator's shaft is continues spinning for some time then pulley is OK.
The problem #2 can be a broken pulley of A/C compressor.
The problem #3 can be a water pump or its pulley or both.
Etc etc...
