oil filter change

When I resealed my upper oil pan, I had to take off the exhaust y-pipe and starter motor. This gave me a great view of the drain funnel. I noticed that it is only a piece of sheet metal and bolted to the block with a single bolt. This allows the funnel to come away from the block if you put any weight on the tip. I pushed it back up and into the block. We'll see if this helps the next oil change. I believe that when I change my filter out, I may be resting my hand on the funnel, deforming it just enough to let quite a bit of oil to bypass it.
