Have an Outlander 2009 and tried to connect my iphone4, I go thru the voice menu to setup but can never see the outlander on the iphone in bluetooth device search, should the Outlander/MMCS always be visible as a connectible device?

 

I paired my iPhone 4S to my 2007 Outlander/MMCS a few weeks ago. Just have the phone in Settings-->General-->Bluetooth and start the pairing on MMCS. It will find your iPhone, then enter the pairing code. I don't think it shows up on your iPhone before that. It's not like a wifi connection.
