Default Outlander GT S-AWC settings

Hi everyone! I have a 2017 Outlander GT.. what do you guys use for daily driving? awc eco or normal?

For snow.. snow or lock mode?

i use awc eco for everyday driving.

When winter shows up, I use normal if it’s just a light coating of snow, snow mode if there’s more than 1/2” on the ground and lock mode if theres a chance I’ll get stuck or am stuck.

Don’t drive around a lot in lock mode. It’s not good for the driveline.

Thanks for the reply! so basically only use lock mode when i get stuck? so if its snowing really bad.. can i use lock mode or just use snow first then lock if i get stuck?

You can use it if the roads are really really bad. I think of it like 4x4 low in trucks. It’s there when the going gets rough. I’ve never had any trouble getting around in snow mode only and I was pushing snow with the bumper sometimes.
