Talking Over boosting

I have just bought a 2007 overlander with 113.000 miles. The pipe from the turbo keeps blowing off. I have had it put back on several time but keeps coming off resulting in loss of power when uphill etc. advice please!

Clean all the surfaces with white spirit, use a new clip, and then tighten.

The RAC fellow did that! Lasted about two miles 🤬 have ordered a new pipe. Seems like it’s a common problem, need to find out why the pressure gets to much maybe? Thanks anyway.

Was the clip the correct clip though, from Mitsubishi? They are much stronger than normal clips, and do not cause a problem. Normal worm drive clips are not normally strong enough to do this.

Probably not in truth. From this picture of the pipe I’ve ordered it would appear the metal end part is bonded to the rubber. Pipe? I must admit after reading many of the posts regarding this model I’m feeling less happy about the purchase.🤔
