I'm new to the forum and joined specifically to get some help on this one issue I'm having.

I bought my Outlander in May of 2013 and just got the Blue tooth kit and USB port installed to connect my ipod. Both my phone and Ipod are recognized and linked to my car and I don't have any issues other than importing my contact list. I'm able to use the blue tooth to make and receive calls as well as add contacts to the car phone book, however every time I've tried to import the phone book, it says "Importing", there's a long pause and then it says "Import Failed". I've seen other posts on this but without any resolution to the problem. Any thoughts? I have not had an update to my phone during this process as was mentioned in other posts.

Should work fine. Go to the dealer. IS your phone rooted? did you click the android pop up asking for permission to access contacts?

My phone is not rooted. The message about allowing the car access to my phone popped up, I said "allow" and "don't show me message again". Was hoping to avoid going back to the dealer, as the closest one to me is about 50 min away but it looks like that's what I'll have to do. Thanks anyway!
