Default Problems with Keyless System

Hi All

I am new to the forums. I picked up my new Outlander XLS from the dealer on Friday and have a problem today, I am unable to lock the Outlander either with the Keyless Remote which just does nothing (checked the battery its OK), or by pressing the button on the door handle (the display in the Outlander displays Confirm Key Location) and if I try to lock the Outlander using the key it only locks the drivers door.

All was working for approx 24 hours and now nothing and suggestions would be greatly appreciated a I am unable to lock the Outlander which is a little stressfull seeing its not 32 hours old.

Also, the Outlander can be started with the Keyless device no where near the Outlander in fact at one stage it was some 200m away.

Cheers
Andrew

Something is seriously wrong with your KOS - unfortunately only the dealer can reset and reactivate your FOBS - doing this will either solve the problem or identify a bigger issue with the KOS. Let us know how you make out.
