Radio Station IDs
OK,
I hope that I am not just being stupid but does the GPS/RF/touthscreen not display the artist/station when the radio is on? All I see is the number. My old radio (2006) even showed it.
This is a feature on every car's basic system now. Is it that I just can't find it?

It's known as RBDS Radio Broadcast Data System and my 08 Outlander (even without navigation) has it. Hopefully this will help you find it in the menus or owner's manual for your nav system. Not all radio stations broadcast this information, but most of the popular FM stations here in Phoenix do.
