Hi,
My wife has an 03 Outlander. She clipped off the rear lid handle last night closing the garage door without being in all the way. I've attached a pic. (I hope). It looks like I only need a new handle with is about $68. Has anyone replaced this unit and know if that is all I need?
Also does anyone know how to get the rear lid open without the handle? I can't seem to find any inside release. Last question is does anyone know or have a manual on how to get at the handle from the inside?

I remember in the manual, you should get a little round cover (2 inches) il the middle of the hatch (from the inside)... just pop up the little round cover and a latch should be seen.... Hope that help....

 

there is no cover on mine. I had to tear the entire trim pieces off.
