Question Seats don't tumble all the way forward 2012 Outlander SE

Seats don't tumble all the way forward 2012 Outlander SE. Is this normal? they tumble about 3/4 of the way and then lock - My wife's 2007 xls they tumble all the way forward ... feel like I'm missing something simple...

I had the same question for my '13 - and unfortunately this is normal. I make up for it, by using the "top" of the seat as a "shelf" to stack things onto.

Thanks, searched and could not find the answer. Too bad on that. I used the shelf method already too, disappointing though ...

Yes, I know - but that is basically the only drawback - really - which I can live with - with our cars. I would hate to own one of the others that are having all kinds of problems and recalls. (This includes Outlander, and competitiors.)
