I have never used Sirius before (whether in a car or otherwise). Other than the music, does it also provide live traffic updates? I have heard of some cars having Sirius traffic data on top of their navigation maps to show traffic areas.

Question: Does the '08 MMCS navigation support any kind of traffic overlay if a Sirius subscription is present?

No. There is only TMC via FM on the 2011+ NAV.
