Default Sirius Radio Add-On

I just got a 2007 Outlander XLS. It came with all options with no extra packages added. My question is the radio is prewired for Sirius radio, which Sirius tuner do I need since there's a SAT button on the radio. My dealer sent me to Best Buy and Circuit City, they don't have any idea. I have called Sirius and Mitisubishi Motors, they don't know also. Any help would be great. Oh, my wife and I love our new Outlander.

that is strange, the dealer should sell an OEM reciever unit. infact, many dealers say that only the oem original will work. anyways, my uncle is quite knowledgable on cars and owns an 06 murano which is pre-wired for sirius. He purchased a reciever and attena from this site http://www.grubbsperformance.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=MuranoA udio
its specifically for nissan/infiniti, however, maybe it'l give you an idea of what you need. also, sirius sells tuners for cars pre-wired, and since the outie already has a "sat" button and should be able to control the radio, all you need is something like thisSirius Tuner (though its made for GM vehicles...hopefully they will release a mitsubishi version soon)

good luck

its a dealer installed reciever.. I doubt very much your dealer would have sent you elsewhere to find one.
Its mearly plugged in, but it wont work until the CAN BUS is told to "activate" it, which can only be done at the dealer. if your dealer did in fact tell you to go elsewhere, my suggestion would be to find a better dealer.

yeahp' dealers option bro....your sirius shuold be pre-activate, i, think pre-activate for 30-40 days. like uhh try out kinda' deal. then after that, your dealer should ask if you wannna subscribe. ( i, know best buy have activation, but this is for personal option)
