Software/DPF issue
I have an Outlander Diesel 2.2l 2018 automatic, which had an MOT in March 2025 - passed.
About 2 months ago it started belching black smoke when accelerating ~30-40mph. It was used from short journeys so I thought the DPF was not getting cleaned, but doing a long journey with prolonged periods of +3000rpm did not cure it. No warning lights came on so took it to the garage who said the software was saying the DPF only showed 1g of soot, when it should have been a lot more, and no warnings/errors were showing. No software settings changes have been made. Has anyone had an issue like this?
