Spacer Lift kit for Outlander
Hey guys, I recently contacted a company about producing a small spacer lift for the Outlander Sport. However, I think the same spacer might work between both the bigger Outlander and the Sport. They currently provide this for most subaru models. You can check them out at http://www.subtle-solutions.com/
So, if you are interested please reply to this thread. Be sure to include whether you have an Outlander or Outlander Sport. I will be directing them to this thread so they can monitor your input and gauge interest.
Thanks.

Saggy butt spacers
with the real or imagined low hanging rear end on my outlander, a set of "saggy butt" spacers like they have shown would be quite usefull. I have airbags installed, but they just keep things level and don't add any height beyond stock.

Just curious. Do you think "adding height" to the rear would degrade the headlight performance. My 2010 GT has an adjustment for the HIDs but it can onlly adjust them down to compensate for the saggy butt with weight. If I raise the rear an inch, wouldnt my lights shine somewhat down into the ground? I only ask because I really love the headlights on this car. They do a great job. I know its only an inch in height but I wonder what that translates to 200 feet in front of the car.
Just a thought.
Drive safe,
Mike

Interested in spacers for the Sport. Est pricing and install detail or info would help - thanks!
And what max size tire can I run with the spacer?
Side question: anyone tried swapping 255/55/18 that came from their SE AWD for the 16"s wheels (that came w/2WD (stock tires 215/70/16)). Only reason why swap won't work if the SE AWD has larger brake calipers and need 18s. Anyone?
255/55/18 are 29" tall, 5.5" sidewall, and revs/mile = 694.
Thinking of running 16"s with 235/70/16. Close revs/mile = 697. Same height 29" as the 255/55/18; but an inch more side walls 6.6" which I want.
Now with the spacer, curious how much taller can I ran with the 16s, and side walls I can get. Not looking to run 40" tires (lol) just see what I can get the most of the SE AWD.
Cheers!

just a heads up
The stock 18" wheels are not 255/55R18s. They are 225/55R18s. The larger size may fit, but maybe they'll rub. The two stock sizes, 225/55R18 and 215/70R16 have the same rolling diameter (0.4%).
