Sunroof Leak in touch-free carwash

Not really.
I found no settings to be adjusted regarding sunroof travel.
However, there are some real-time stepper motor position values (Panel position in Lexia). At least we can compare them on several Outlanders.

Guys with Lexia, would you mind checking your sunroof numbers?

I will have a look at mine later.(it is flush)
By the way
The Owner manual is full of dire warning about wax on the sunroof seal page 7-85
Quote of the highlighted section.
On vehicle with sunroof be careful not to apply any wax on the weatherstrip (black rubber) when waxing the area around the sunroof opening.
If stained with wax, the weatherstrip cannot maintain a weatherproof seal with the sunroof.

Just an update.
After 3 weeks of waiting I sent the below email to Mitsubishi of Canada on last Friday, Sep 9
They didn't reply, but the next day at 9am I got a call from Midtown dealership.
I was asked to bring my car in on the next day.
Today I was there and it took them 40min to say that the weatherstrip on the sunroof needs to be replaced.
And yes, it is covered by warranty.
They ordered the part and said it will take 2-3 days to arrive.
Hopefully I will not have to contact main office again regarding this issue.

Hi,
I went to Midtown Toronto dealership 3 weeks ago with leaking sunroof issue.
They even didn't want to look at the car and said they gonna call main office to get approval (not sure approval for what? THEY DIDN'T CHECK THE CAR!!!) and it's going to take up to 48 hours.
I called them 5 days after and they said they still didn't get it.
Today, 3 WEEKS AFTER, the sunroof is still leaking and of course nobody called from Midtown dealership.
I already know from the service manager that windows rattling is normal for Mitsubishi, but I didn't know before that the leaking sunroof is another hidden feature in my car that is only 1.5 years old.
Please advise ASAP, as the rain season is coming.
Thanks

I finally took my Outlander to the dealer two days ago.
Telling them that the sunroof leaks while going through the car wash.
Work done:
-sunroof rubber stripping was re-glued in the rear to stop leaking.
-front part was left, as minor drops form and are conveyed through the front drain holes.
*all under warranty of course
I have not taken it back to the wash, as it has been raining and the glue was supposed to cure for a few days.
I’ll update once I take it through the touchless again (this only happens only a few times a year, as I prefer a good hand wash)

Sunroof leaking in carwash
First time I took my car for service for the Sunroof leak they suggested I didn’t pass it through a car wash! WHAT?? So, after the fixed it a week later I did. It leaked again. So I have an appointment tomorrow.
QUOTE=MM3Canuck;276895]This is the second time I took my 2010 Outlander through the automatic touch free car wash, (Sometimes you just don't have the time to hand wash.) and as the high pressure jets pass over the sunroof, I get a significant amount of water dripping through.
This happened at the Esso and PetroCanada touch-free carwash locations.
I've owned other vehicles with sunroofs, and never had an issue going through the touch-less.
Anyone else with the same issue?[/QUOTE]
