Default Tow hooks in front - different ?

Noticed that my 2013 Outlander has two tow rings up front - one is the usual solid ring, and the other has a concave outer rim (Like the metal part of a pulley loop) Does yours ? Why would it be like this?

The car was at the dealer's this morning - and I asked them about it - One (the round one) is the actual tow ring, and the other is simply part of the frame. Nice to have two points up front though.

Thanks for sharing. No one seemed to care but I think this is something worth taking note of.

Such has seemed to be the norm on this forum - but yeah - it was an interesting thing to find.
