Default RE: TSB List for 07 Outlander?

I just ask. My vin number isn't on the tsb sheet but I do feel a slighty lag. But once its done, it is smooth.

But beware, you will lose about 2-3 mpg. I went from a 23.5-24.4 and above to a disappointing 21-22.3 avg MPG on HWY.

I don't know if you have to drive a while before the computer will have to get use to it and adjust it to get back to the normal mpg? I am trying that right now. I have been driving alot since then. After this fill up and see the same results, I am difinitly going back.

I will be planning to go back and have them change it back before the tsb fix.

What if your mileage stays the same after you flash it back? Are you going back again and redo the TSB? Mileage is a variable value. I have had varying mileage on the sme route I travel every to work.

Mighty,
R u sure it's not just your lead foot? Now that you have smoother acceleration maybe you are enjoying it too much. Another member stated his mileage improved after the TSB fix. I haven't tried the "fix" yet and my mileage hasn't been as good as yours was before your fix, so i'm thinking it won't have much effect on mileage.

Instead of going back to the dealer I'd try some tests using cruise control on the same route. I'd also try to keep the weight in the car the same as well as the tire pressure too. I'd guess it has more to do with the outside factors than anything else.

Cuffy, which thread is that?

I am not trying to step on the pedal hard but just to accelerate normally and I can tell the difference in MPG already. I had kept the weight and tire pressure the same.

After the Refuel light comes on and see the same statistics, I will go back. and if my old recordings are the samebefore the TSB, i will go back to the dealer and change it again.

I am going to do some tests.

Mineis a july model i believe and i went in and got both flashes done a few months ago.

The throttle lag is GONE, and although not "perfect" the transmission is better.

My average MPG went down1-2 mpg, it could be other factors involved but ive put 50 tanks of gas thru it and it seems like 1-2mpg combined less due to the flashes. (was 16-20 city and 23-26 hwy... now 15-18/21-25)

It is worth it to me... a couple bucks is like buyingan energy drink/practically nothing. The drivability however is worth much more to me.

(I have since added heavier truck tires and mileage is down another 1mpg (15-17 city and 20-25 hwy.)
