Unable to quit parking brake service mode
Evening folks, first time posting here. I just finished servicing my rear brake pads on my 2017 Outlander and I am unfortunately stuck in service mode. The car appears drivable but the indicator lights remain on and I receive warnings to remove parking brake even if it is while driving.
I've followed various posted procedures to initiate and quit parking brake service mode, but to no avail. I used the manual procedure with the switch in this instance. For reference, I turned back the piston using a 12 volt cable to power the motors (which I learned after the fact that service mode was not necessary, but now I'm stuck in it.) I'd rather not shell out any more money on this if at all possible. I'm just hoping this is not a mode that can only be removed by visiting the dealership and clearing any codes, modes or messages.
Any help would be greatly welcome.
FYI - this is the link to the procedure in question, which didn't work for me.
