I just bought a Montero sport and with in 2 weeks of ownership the transfer shifter Pivot Point shattered and transfer case will not engage in any gear 4hi 4lo or all-wheel drive I am looking to replace with a used one but at my local scrap yard they can't tell me whether the transfer case is from a 3.0 or 3.5 L engine is there any difference between the transfer cases.
