I am richard from philippines and would like to seek some help from some good fellows. I have lancer GLi '94 model and have some issue with my auto tranny. After switching on my car all seems normal with shifting and after few shifts later the tranny wound,nt shift no more. Checked the oil level and quality seems okay. Few times tried switching off the ignition and start again the problems is gone until a few shifts after again the problem starts again. After trying to check some few forums on some friendly websites, i have learned that the problem must come from the computer box. Sad to hear that this year models they say have really bad reputation for the computer box. But thinking about the price of the computer box i was hesitant to pruchase just to make experiments if this is really the source of the problem. Can somebody assure me that the computer box is really the main problem here? Many thanks in advance to all members.
