I drive a 96 gli mit lancer. I would like to share my experience with servo kit related problems. Usually, if the idle seems to be erratic ( 1000-1800) and sometime just stays as high as 1500-1800 even if you try to lower the idle, I would say that it is related to the servo. I had 3-4 changes of servo kit already, and these are done by casa people, and casa mechanics that went on their own. For a servo kit replacement (around 850-1k) you would be lucky if it can last for at least 4 months, else look for a servo assembly.

Anybody who had this problem and replaced the whole servo assembly? How much does it cost and how is its performance with your car?
