Hi Mitsubishi members,

I'm new on this forum. I bought a used mitsubishi lancer gts 2009 full load 2 months ago. Last week, I started to have problem to shift. CVT Automatic transmission. I need to push the shift lock button to unlock the shifter. I went to dealer but they never saw this on mitsubishi lancer. I search on the forum but I only see the similar problem on outlander 2007. After many research, Brake Light switch or solenoid transmission switch seems to be the solution. Did you ever had this problem and what did you replace to resolve the issue. The dealer ordered the solenoid switch but they told me if its not working, the last solution will be the entire shifter. The car has only 50 000km.
