I'm having some Montero(2000 sport) problems with elecrical specifically the interior lights.

At first I thought the dome light was out, so I bought a two pack of bulbs. Neither worked. Then noticed that the cargo light was also out as well as the reading lights and I have to reprogram the radio every time I start the car

I replaced the fuses that I thought were correct according to the manual:

Passenger compartment number 18
Relay under hood number 5.

Still no change.

I'm not very mechanically inclined. Can anyone give me advice in layman's terms?

I appreciate any help you'd be willing to give.
