Default Should I buy this car?

Hi guys the reason i joined is because I need your opinion about a car I am considering to buy. I do not own an eclipse but was wondering what you guys think about this car. Is it too expensive and does it have alot of miles for a 1999? also do they have alot of problems. I would appreciate any advice. thank you!!

Its a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 2.4 non-turbo
$4000 & 130000 miles

thats ruffly 230xxxkms..generally the timing belt should be changed 100xxxkms-or-60xxx miles... find out about any tune-ups recently done. If the seller is asking $4000 i would walk with about $3500- unless it states that $4000, is the final price.. if timing belt breaks while your on the hwy theres a good chance your engine would get damaged so i would recommend getting paperwork for it if its done- or getting it changed if not-...you might also have a warranty on the belt if its recent-

these cars are AMAZING- milage is not THAT great of a deal because you can always swap engine and tranny- if thats something of your interest. i have seen alot of these with engine swaps-

-another thing to keep in mind is to make sure the top doesnt leak..it would cost more then 800$ getting it replaced "professionally"
-if every things works good- and rims are included- this would be a decent price...but remember...unless the add says "$4000 firm"...price listed is more than what buyer would settle for.
