RE: looking for a new car
Im talking about the FC which is the 1986-1991, but the 89-91 came with more HP factory. The only thing about rx-7's is you need to learn about the rotary engine . The other good thing IMO about the rx7 and supra is RWD

Be warned, the engine (at least in the AW11s) is a pain in the a$$ to work on because of where it is placed. Also, pray you never need to run a speedo cable on one, it's a royal pain.
I had one, now I switched to an eclipse. Though, I do miss the handling it had even with dead suspension.

RE: looking for a new car
Easy to work on:early Chevelles, Camaros and Novas. I've never worked on any 4 cylinder that was easier than those. Easy is also a relative to your knowledge. Just do it, I don't care what it is, you will learn something. That is how I learned how to change quarter panels, rear panels and even tops of cars and welding, painting, body work, engine work, frame work, etc., just do it, but have someone you can ask questions to. There are people on this board that probably know anything you need to know. Get tough, you can do it no matter what car you pick,... perserverence pays dividends.
