Basically you don't, lol. Drive it illegally. That, or spend a lot of money and time making it fit U.S. emissions/safety standards. Can take a LONG *** time and cost a pretty penny. Hence why you don't see them in the U.S. often at all...

hmm, to tell you the truth, I've never seen a skyline in the US.

Lol. What would you have to do to change emissions? New exhaust, cat, etc. or is it internal in the engine?

I'm not sure, honestly. But from guessing I'd say it'd probably be a lot. I mean, if it was as simple as just reworking the exhaust...probably see a few more of them. Probably not a ton because they really are expensive, but you can get them semi-cheap from Canada.
