My montero cranks over but wont fire up and wont connect with a scan tool. I've tried 3 scan tools, not cheap ones, and no reading. Before replacing the timing belt and crank sensor, vehicle would randomly not have any power to it when trying to start. After timing belt and sensor I took it for a ride and when attempting to accelerate , it had only half pedal. Now it only cranks but wont start. Checked power into PCM and thats good. Checked Nuetral safety switch..good. Is this signs of a bad Pcm ? I noticed that Pcm's for this vehicle are back ordered, which means a lot of people with same problem.
