I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Diamante, Iam having issues getting the car inspected, there are no service engine lights no codes, all monitor status are ready, no issues when run through diagnostic. But I have brought to four different respectable mechanics and each time keep in mind each mechanic performed several times, test runs fine but then 3/4 through the test it fails to communicate, stating that the car has been shut off while it still is running. One mechanic even went as far as telling me that it broke communication while reading the rpm's. Please help, only car for transportation to work and for two children's needs.
