Default Please Help! Colt 1994 1.3 Gli.

Hi Guys,

I am new to all thisand i desperately need help.

I have a 1994 Colt 1.3 Gli.

It starts fine but when i put my foot down, i have no power.

Managed to take it to the local Mitsubishi Garage who told me my Distributor has gone.

They wanted to charge me £450 for the part without labour, maybe they thought they could screw me over as i went in alone with no man, lol. I have found one on the net quite a lot cheaper which i am planning to buy, however, i need to know the firing sequence for the cylinders in order to get it fitted (or so i have been told) Could anyone please help me out with this???

Thanks,

Louise.

Sounds like you need a good tune up, you should do it yourself and save some $$$. Its really not that bad of a job and pick up a haynes manual to guide you along.

You should be able to find the fireing sequence by looking at the valve coveras the engine cranks.
