i just put in a walbro 255 pump and my car wont start what do i need to do? i followed all the neccessary precautions but when i went to start the car, it acted like it was going to start but just never did. im sure i just skipped over something simple but i was hoping you guys could give me some advise. do you think i should give it just a little gas when i try to start it? i felt the fuel lines and it doesnt feel like theres hardly any pressure. help is appreciated a lot if you reply today. i still have to drive it to work

 

are you sure you bought the right pump for your car? i bought a walbro 255 off my friend w/ an 02 wrx b/c it looked the same but my car would not start with it on there. after i installed the old/factory one it cranked right up.

 

im positive its the right one, its the one fuel-pumps.net sent me and my buddy has the same one(same part #)on his gsx, i havent really talked to him lately though

 

did you wire it in correctly, and did you put all the lines back on right. Go to http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.htmland look under fuel and check out the how to on the install and make sure you did it like they said. Do you have a FWD or AWD?
