ok... so they will have full power as asite mod that is fine but have them split to there own areas to watch over. that should work fine as long as all mods know their main resposiblities and their specific area. How many new mods should we look at? 1-2?2-3? and I think they should be discussed in here before we PM them about the idea so that way we all agree before one of us PMs someone

 

small problem I have... I cant do anythig in the EVO section I have no power there..I have a thread that needs to be moved and I cant do it I dont have a management Tab up top or anything

 

ok..that issue is fixed..you should be able to move stuff there too...

i think that 2 or 3 new mdos would be nice...

 

I think at the most 2 mods. I also think that it would be good to have section specific mods that are on frequently to keep threads on topic/close the threads that are old/unused so they don't come back up again by a post *****. Then if a thread needs to be moved then they can contact one of us 3 that way we're not overabounding in site mods and again running with no section mods. Also make sure that mods know thier powers will be stripped if the job isn't being done. Should keep them on thier toes and paying attention if they plan on sticking around. Also I think we should be looking at who's posting where and start resetting the post or turning off post counting for at least the OT section. I also posted a sticky in the New Member area ive it a read and let me know what you think I should change or alter. I am hoping this will start getting teh new members straight in the first place and maybe cut down on needless convo in the NEW member section.

 

Ok well I got 4 suggestions to be looked at for becoming a MoD

1) Joel_CA
2) Eclipsed4u
3) NESpeed
4) Slow420a

all 4 of them I think would do the job right if asked the only one I havent actually talk to in the past on the forums is Joel and that is because he stays around tech help mainly so I am not sure if it would even be something of his intrest but just a thought. And Id rather we all decide as a group so we make a good choice.

 

Damn no comment on my new sticky After I spent like half the night last night typing it up (Computer was being slow as SHYT for some odd reason). Anyways yeah I think all those guys would do a good job if given a section to keep an eye on. I think slow420A and Eclisped should be the 2 Eclpise section mods. Possibly talk to them see if there are other things they would keep an eye on as well. NES I dunno where he really hangs and what he knows but I'm dure Emonz has an idea. Joel is definately a techie and would be a good mod I think for that section.

 

well...you guys know them better than i do...so ask away..i would have no problem with all four of them, honestly..

my few concerns...

slow420a knows his stuff, but he is selling his car, and he plays with the post ****** in OT..

ya I briefly checked out your Sticky and I hope the new member will read and respond to it, I noticed alot of pointless posting going on in the newb section as well prior and did know whatto do about it so I hope that takes care of it.

as far as NESpeed's knowledge He would shine in the 3000GT section and def. the FI section but he spends most of his time in 3000 FI tech and mitsu general sections. he is like joel he worked at a dealer as a tech so he knows alot of odd things he also has built a pair or 1Gs one was wrecked he did all the work to restore it and painted both bebuilt the heads of both ect ect he has plenty of mitsu knowledge.

He is my friend but the only concern I had with him is how he for a while was quick to jump in someones **** for being wrong about something, I said something to him to try and relize that alot of the members here dont have his expirience and are just learning and I noticed he has calmed down quite a bit since (it was a bad habit for the 1st few weeks he was here)

The main plus with him is he PMs me daily with threads needing to be moved or whatever else. He has run a forum in the past so he knows the job and I know he will be good at that part of it.

 

Well I'm going to start going through the Newb section and close all threads at midnight. That gives people a chance to say hi and blurb and then go on to the REST of the forum. Also will cut down on the BSin in there.

I'm not too concerned with Pete'd BSin with the postwhores in OT as I don't really see him doing too much of it. The ****** are drowning him and everyone else out mostly. Now the thing with Joel I think we just need to ask him if he's interested in the position and if he'd be willing to remove the plug from his sig.
