Default Raising the suspension.........

I see a lot of threads on lowering the suspension, I was wondering about raising the suspension? Any comments? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
Thanks

Gotta love it when you ask a question and get a "why" reply................but I'll give you a reason, because I live in Colorado and have snow and ice to deal with, and also the car sits too low to suit me. So, that being said, what are the advantages/drawbacks to raising the suspension and whats the best way to go about doing it? Thanks

so do what I do here in northewesten PA where we have a bunch of snow and ice too...Go get a winter beater and put that Eclipse in storage! Mine is a '96 Jeep Cherokee with almsot 130K on it! Keeps the Eclipse out of the snow, ice, salt, and rain and looking good when Spring time comes
