Fixed my clutch, but now....
Going for an alternator replacement. I took it into a mech to test the alternator. I think he knew what he was doing, but should I take note of this? "a blown fuse in the lamp circut may cause a "no charge condition" Verify that the battery voltage is present at the "l" terminal of the alternator plug".Anyways he said the alternator is bad. Heres the situation with the car. My 92 mitsu 1.8 died while starting it up to go home from work. I had it jumped and proceeded to autozone for a battery the next day. The test came back "bad battery" So I replaced it. After installing the new battery, my Battery and brake lights both stay lit. At first they would cut off after I took off, but now they won't turn off at all. This was happening even before I changed the battery. So I suspect a bad alternator. I bought a 65amp world wide refurbished one for $115 before core. I'm almost broke and want to make sure its the alternaotr before starting the work. ANy suggestions guys?
