97 signal lever wont stay in position?

Default 97 signal lever wont stay in position?

is this a hard fix, Im afraid I wont pass inspection .

Just hold it down when you want to turn. Go to the junk yard and pull one and replace it. easy fix.

a little more information please........... that is very vague. is it stuck on a turn? stuck in the middle? won't stay in a certain postion?

works in left/right but wont stay in right must hold , NY is very strick on inspections
I just wonder if I have to pull the wheel?

Replace the multi function switch.
Its simple.
Just undo the 2 trim panels around the steering wheel, disconnect the switch, unbolt it, then do the reverse to install.

Switch is probally $30-40 at a dealer.
