my check engine light is on for a fuel trim code, and i dont know what is making it go off. the only things i have done was put in a new turbo, 16g, boost controller and boost gauge. i am getting around 25+ vacuum at idle :/ what should i do to troubleshoot this. also whenever i romp on it, unless my rpm are around 4k, the boost actually bogs it down instead of giving me horsepower.

p0505 is the code i get, i havent used anything to tune it because i havent done anything to really need it tuned yet, or have i ? because the mbc, gauge, turbo, intake filter are the only things i have done to the car so far.

Idle air control valve, its on the throttle body. At ide vacuum should be 18-20 and decel is normally at 30. Sounds like you have a possible vacuum leak.

i agree, sounds like a vacuum leak. Start with the lines that you hooked up for the MBC and boost gauge. Something may have not been re-installed correctly

well... my boost gauge is t'd into the host that runs from the right side of the intake manifold to what i believe is the fuel pressure solenoid :P im not 100% thats wat its called but thats wat i tapped into. and my mbc is tapped between the bov and the intake mani. and the other is ran to the actuator.

there is something i was wondering about tho. the boost control solenoid, what should i do with it??? should i leave the one that origionally went to the actuator off and leave the other hose hooked to the intake??? or should i scrap both hoses??? or should i tee into the hose between the actuator and the mbc and connect that to the nipple on the solenoid that origonally had the hose to the actuator?

just get rid of the solenoid. And also i would have just run the MBC from the turbo compressor housing to the actuator. Youll get a better pressure reading from there.
