yes, i totally agree with you silvercoupe.
I dont feel that motor orientation is that big of an issue. As long as the ecu knows which piston fires first, and then how much fuel to send to the motor, you should be good. As stated earlier, the mitsu reverse rotation uses another shaft in the trans to get everything spinning the same way. just so long I know that placing the motor on the other side of the compartment would leave alot more room for things like brake booster, and master cylinders.

I too agree with the height conern. as it will be the biggest problem to master. I dont see so much that the drive-shaft, and or tunnel problem should be that much of a problem. If the gsx has the appropriate tunnel, then it should be in the other eclipses. I also dont see that the drive-shaft exit location will be that big of a deal, since they should both exit somewhere in the middle. However I could be wrong.

My main concern would be how low the engine would sit, and of course the center diff.
