when anyone gets a 16g or similar turbo i reccomend 660s for a good upgrade. enough fuel for that size turbo an leaves tuning flexibility if you want to run race gas. any bigger turbo and you are going to want 720's+. 550s are pointless for anyone to buy

550s are not pointless if the plan is to stay around 300HP or even areounf 350 for that matter. My car was running 9.8 AFRs on 21 PSI with turbo back and intake I had to lean it to 11.3 so it still has plenty of room to tune with, My fuel pump at the moment is the weakest link and the turbo shortly after. the 16G isnt good past 23 PSI it still falls to 22 any thing after. so Why need a ton of extra fuel unless the plans in the future are to move upward?

I only say 550s for those sercumstances because 550s go dirt cheap on EVOm and they are half the prive of anything bigger

If you are going to try for 380 hp then you are looking at some good money to do it. Basically what emonz wrote. Alot of that stuff you would definetly need to do it.

well if you can get a used pair for $100 then go for it, but if youa re buying new there is absolutely no reason to get 550s over 660s, why would you just want to buy another pair again down the road soon? i found my pair of denso 660s for $200 used too which is a great deal.

well ya I mean 550 vs 660s new wont be much diff in price im sure. and if I were to buy something id go bigger in that situation. but I know the EVO 550s sell for dirt cheap to DSM guys and that is enough fuel to make quite a bit of power and see some pretty desecnt PSI #s
