Default Fuel problems I think...Help

98GST spyder. Its done this most of the time i owned the car.At first i only noticed it when fuel level was low and i would take a turn fast while standing on the gas,the dam thing would like completely fall on its face, like it was not getting fuel.It would only do it for a spilt second at a time and basically chug back and forth from WOT to nothing while in the turn.So i was thinking, dam fuel sloshing around in the tank with a low level like less than 1/4 was not reaching the fuel pump.So i dealt with it,now it does it no matter how much fuel i have in the car when making a turn fast while on the gas.And the other day i was in 2nd gear at like 35-40 mph and then hit the gas to the floor,it accelerated for a second then fell on its face like it would in a turn.It only did it once for a second, then kept accelerating,I was also going straight when it did this.I happen to think the fuel pump is taking a crap, and maybe i need a fuel filter change.Any other ideas? And would it hurt to go ahead and upgrade to a 255 with stock injectors for now?Kill 2 birds with 1 stone you know?Let me know....

If you believe that the problem. Just do it anyways. Consider it an upgrade and if it doesn't fix the problem. Its an upgrade for the future lol.

you can pick up an walbro 255 for like 100 bucks, why not. fuel filter replacement is always a good idea if you havn't done it in a while... this wouldnt be the full problem but could add to the problem - check your air filter, plugs, wires.
