No. Fuel cut happens at the exact point where you're shoving more air into the engine than it can deal with fuelwise. I hit fuel cut at about 3-4 PSI at the moment because my secondary injector has gone bad (I have TBI Throttle Body Injectoin. 2 injectors 1 handles normal cruising the second and larger injector dumps fuel under boost conditions) so right now when I get on it my car will start boosting to 9.5 PSI and have absolutely no power. I'll be boosting but not moving. I actually slow down because of the fuel cut I'm seeing.
