Why do you think you need a new set of motor mounts? What you have done to the car so far repair wise?

Do you have an Auto or manual. With the mounts being bad the only way I know of checking them is by rockin you engine. Have some1 inside the car with the break on and quickly snap the gas peddle see if you have excessive movement with the upper mounts you can see cracks in the mount material when you do this. The vibration when decelerating I don't know what that is right now I will have to hit a tech at work to get some ideas. But when decelerating where are you rpms? if its and auto does it happen in reverse? with the manual does it happen when still in gear and you let off the gas and/or when you in neutral and let off? Is this a common thing or only happens during certain time of day?
