i looked at my engine after 10mins of idoling. i had oil all over my engine cover, it ran down the engines right side to the tranny.
(i cannot drive it till thursday or friday. waiting for dust boots to come in)

 

ran down the right side? wow that sounds like a problem. can you tell if it's coming from the valve cover?or is it coming from where the head and the block meet up?

 

i think it is comin from my oil cap.

 

Get a new cap or cap seal/gasket from an autoparts store, won't be able to find just the seal though, you'll have to buy the entire cap.
That won't cause smoke to come out the tailpipe though. It can/will cause your motor to smoke though.
